Watercolor Exploration
My series "Watercolor Exploration" is a collection of four paintings I created between 2020 and 2022. I wanted to show how watercolor could be used to bring out the beauty of different subjects. The paintings feature landscapes and close-ups of animals, inviting viewers to marvel at the beauty of nature as I see it through my brush strokes.
Using watercolors gave me the chance to experiment with their fluidity and translucency, creating delicate blends and contrasts of color. The play of water and pigment on paper beautifully captures my vision of the world, with its vibrant hues and subtle shifts in tone.
The inspiration for these works came from a variety of photos provided by my teacher. The aim of this series is simple-to share the beauty I see in the world, and perhaps inspire others to see it, too.
